Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari)

I've just stumbled on this little pixel-art gem - a freeware (oh I like the sound of that) platform game with very nice pixel art graphic. Moreover - the gameplay is also very nice (just take a look on the list of weapons and monsters).
The game was created by Japanese company called Studio Pixel, but I guess the english fanpage would be a better place to start.
Game was developed for Windows, but there are ports for Mac and Linux (and some consoles as well).

    The Wiiware version is suppose to come out soon; It's got updated, higher resolution pixel art, redone music, and the potential for DLC.

    It's got quite a following for it; it's great to see a fairly modern pixel game get such attention!

    Actually, Studio Pixel isn't a company, but the project of a single man. All the graphics, music, code, and design were created by one person, Daisuke Amaya.
