If you have any warm feeling about Commodore C64 - you need to visit http://www.lemon64.com/ (if you haven't done so already). It's a great site with lots of pixel art graphics from C64 games (there's much more than just games). Highly recommended!
The BlackMoon Design team has launched new iPhone game today – “Attack of the Mutant Sheeps”. The game is quite simple, yet it’s fun and challenging. There's some crude humor into the game – you must protect your hot-dog from being eaten by a bunch of mutated (and possibly aggressive) sheeps.
Here's a advent calendar that you might like. Mission in Snowdriftland is a game with some very nice pixel-art graphics. There are 24 levels - each one unlocked every day. When you finish the level there are some indie game related goodies to download.

If you're in deep need to create some basic pixel-art and somehow you've ended up without all your pixel-art tool - you might like to check piq - a online pixel art editor. It's not very complex, but it'll do for fast, simple things. You can check the piq here.
There are some pretty good flash games, that try to follow (graphically and with similar playability) the good old games from 80's and 90's. Check 8bitflashgames.com for yourself - there are some really nice gems over there.

If you would like to have your pixel-art animation showacased to thousands of people during the Burning Man 2010 festival in Black Rock City, Nevada - go for this site. You can create your animation there in the special editor or write-up some Javascript. The animations will be displayed on the LED board during the festival.
Angus MacLane moved pixel art to our analog world - by creating a collection of "Cube Dudes" - 8bit characters made of Lego bricks. Check the collection on Flickr - it's really cool.

Remeber Zak Mckracken? Well - if you played those point-and-click games down in the 90's and you're the Lost fan - here's something for you. Guys from Penney Design visualized the tv's LOST as old school adventure game. Pretty cool - check it for yourself.
Flixel is a library of classes for Action Script 3 which makes pixel-art based game development much easier. If you're not a Flash game developer this might not excite you much, but collection of 40 great pixel-art games which uses the flixel engine will surely excite everybody. You might want to take a look at a very nice 3D editor called Paint3D. You can create 3D images (and 3D pixel art) the same way as in ordinary Paint - how cool is that?
Some time ago there has been a great post on webdesignerdepot.com, talking about video game design over the decades. To me the begining part was the most interesting - games in the early 90's got a very nice pixel-art gamearts. Check the list for yourself at webdesignerdepot.com.
